2011 Stableford League

Last League of the 2011 Season!!  
New Format - We're mixing it up a bit this fall by offering our ever popular Stableford League with a slight twist. Rather than a team event as in the past, this year will be a singles format. The same modified Stableford point system will be used with points given (or lost) based on your own net score per hole. An example of the possible scoring would be: 1 pt for a net par, 2 pts for a net birdie, 3 pts for a net eagle, 4 pts for a net dbl eagle, 0 pts for net boggie, and -1 pt for dbl bogy or worse. Total points scored for each week will be accumulated for the overall standings. In addition, we will be visiting 5 different courses on each of the 5 weeks of competition.
 
Everyone with an established handicap is welcome to play, though the useable course handicap maximum is 36. In other words, the most handicap strokes per hole that can be used is 2.
 
So mark your calendars and come join us for this final league of the season. Play dates are Sept 25, Oct 6, 23, 30, and Nov 6. Locations will be announced once the contracts are firmed up. The first week of play will be at Empire Ranch in Folsom. Greens fees also will vary depending on the course and will be payable at each course on the day of play. A registration fee of $15 will be paid at the time of registration which includes monies for the prize fund.
